Nursery
We believe that young children are intrinsically capable of amazing things and this is our starting point for all that we do. We know a child’s development at this crucial stage has a fundamental impact on their happiness, future learning and shapes the young person they will become.
Above all, we want our children to feel happy, safe and secure. We treat every child as a unique individual.
Our Rooms
We have three classrooms in our nursery for children 2-4 years old.
Each child has a ‘base room’ which is the class that they belong to and where their key worker will be based. This allows the adults to get to know each child and plan appropriate provision according to their needs. This also allows our youngest children to have a quieter space to play and explore.

We also incorporate singing and rhymes into our daily routines and interactions, to build important language skills and introduce new vocabulary.
Our Outdoor Area
Our outdoor area provides challenging and engaging opportunities for our children to play and investigate in all weathers. Here they form relationships with others, assess risks for themselves and have the confidence and resilience to attempt challenges.
An inspirational range of play equipment which helps build children’s gross motor skills and physical development to build confidence and self-esteem. Sharing equipment, and space, and negotiating turn taking are important skills for our children to acquire and helps develop children’s communication.
The outdoor areas provide designated spaces for mud, gravel, sand and water areas as well as natural areas and moveable construction areas. Here they can imagine, plan, think critically, create, construct, balance, develop ideas, work together and solve pro
