Now that the secondary school building is under construction, we’d like to tell you more about our vision for St John’s CE Academy and the joining experience we have planned for our very first cohort of Year 7 children. Due to a delay in the construction timeline, the Secondary Site will not be ready for occupancy in September 2025. However, we will temporarily allocate part of our Primary Site (the northern wing) for our incoming Year 7 students, ensuring they have sufficient space and resources until the new building is ready.

This approach will foster a stronger sense of togetherness within our all-through school (ages 2-16). It will provide new Year 7 students with a familiar environment, easing their transition to the secondary phase, and will allow them to be directly involved in the final phases and design of what will be their secondary school building. We are genuinely excited about the opportunities this presents and are continuing to refine our plans for the school across all phases in the meantime.

Initial Information Evening: 

With construction underway for our Secondary Site, we were eager to update the community on our timeline and plans for opening in September 2025. This event provided a comprehensive overview of our progress and upcoming milestones.

Series of Q&A Sessions/Tours of the Primary Site (FULLY BOOKED):

Join us for these sessions, where you'll have the opportunity to ask questions and take a tour of the primary site. This will be especially useful for parents of incoming Year 7 students, as it will provide insights into the temporary arrangements at the Primary Site while the Secondary Site is being completed.
